Weird sound on the other end using Skype / Raidcall

Sup,

since I got my new sound card (Asus Xonar D1) some friends of mine I'm often talking to via Skype or Raidcall are complaining about a weird sound. They describet it "like I'd be playing a racing game and got my sound too loud so they can hear it as well."
It only happens when I join a server in the game Battlefield Bad Company 2. When I'm on my desktop or something it's fine.
The weird thing is, even if I mute my mic the sound stays.
We got no idea where this is coming from and how I could fix it.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
