    My laptop doesn't register headphones.

I am on my laptop right now, and usually when I plug in headphones Realtek Audio Manager comes on and confirms they're plugged in.

But now, I plug them in and Realtek doesn't come up, and the speakers continue to function, as well as the headphones. Also, when I plug them in, Realtek flashes a little, but still doesn't register the headphones.

    Thanks.

Is the headphone jack plugged all the way in? Also please complete your pc specs?

I don't have the time for that right now, but it's a TOSHIBA SATELLITE PRO C660, C660D, C850. And yes, the headphone is plugged all the way in.

Is Realtek in the system toolbar and running? If it is can't you change it from there.
