    Audio not working,cant play files and when i try says:Server execution


    resently, when i was trying to get Itunes to work(never mind about itunes, not the problem) i dud deeper into the problem and i gone through some regedit stuff at the RUN wich i was told to do if Itunes was gonna work and then my audio stopped working, my media files to but i can still play games (without audio). dont really know what to do but i hope you can help me. In that case thx

    Whatever you did to the registry caused the problems.

    First suggestion is to use the System Restore and restore the PC back to a date when the sound worked correctly (ignoring any iTunes problems). That will probably fix it but, if that doesn't work, reinstall the Integrated sound drivers, from the motherboard vendor as these are the preferred drivers. Non vendor drivers and/or the generic Windows installed HD Audio Codec may not work or work correctly.

    System Restore can be accessed from Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools.
