Windows 7: "no headphones or speakers connected"

"no headphones or speakers connected"

When they clearly are . I isntalled my nvidia graphics card driver then everything went downhill from there not sure i this matters but i did sometihng and saw a spark inside my computer. SO back to the topic. iv tried everything :C I even reformatted.

With the "spark", anything is possible including causing the sound problem.
