How are you connecting the monitor? Via a VGA or DVI video cable or via HDMI?

If you are using a typical VGA or DVD connection to the monitor you must also connect an audio cable from the GREEN Speaker output on the PC to the audio input on the monitor.

Information on your system (Fill in the My System Specs) would help us to try and help you. Without it we are just guessing.

Then you will need a separate audio (speaker) cable to connect between your PC's GREEN speaker jack and the audio input on the monitor.
