Realtek Soundcard Pitch Probleme mit Stereomix

After setting up my Computer again after a headcrash I encounter a problem that I already had when setting up the Computer for the first time more than a year ago. Then I could solve the problem, I believe by just deactivating and activating again the soundcard and the drivers. Now this does not work.
    The problem:
Stereomix functions well with my Realtec ALC892 on board soundcard, it records and while recording the sound is normal and good. But when playing back the recorded sound, the pitch is too high by a factor 0,85 (I found that out after experimenting a little) which cooresponds to the factor when dividing 44100 by 48000. I therefore tried all sorts of combinations of sampler rates for playing and recording but to no avail. When playing back and changing the pitch to the said factor then the sound is normal. But that's no solution. It all worked perfectly before for more than a year until setting up the computer again.
BTW, when recording with Audials 9 which obviously has its own recording device, then everything is normal. Strange! Anybody have an explanation?
    My configuration:
    Windows 7 64 bit
    Ditech Dimotion Computer
    Intel Core i7 2400
    Realtek on board Soundkarte
    Driver 6.0.1.6449
    Codec ALC892

    Greetings from Vienna

16 bit, 44.1Khz (CD Audio) should be used for both recording and playback. 48Khz is primarily for audio that is used with video so it will properly synchronize.

I have a Sonar recording studio and do not use 48Khz as I don't do any audio recording for commercial video.

Thanks but I tried this already and nothing changes. My computer in the office has the standard settings i.e. 48000 for playing and 41100 for recording and I have no problems with recording with stereomix and playing back. So it has to be something else.
