downloaded driver for wireless keyboard and mouse and lost my sound

I recently purchased a new computer with operating system Windows 7. I had sound until I downloaded the drivers for Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse. I am at a loss as to how to get my sound back and continue using the keyboard/mouse. Any help would be appreciated.

    Welcome to Seven Forums!

Did you download the drivers from Logitech site? Or are they from a third party?

Reinstall drivers for your Sound might do the trick what is its model? If sound card it should be in Device Manager under Sound, video and game controllers. If its on-board (meaning intact with the motherboard) then look at the motherboard's specs to find out its model =)

well......as impatient as I am...and feebing around...I uninstalled the drivers for the keyboard and mouse...and the sound has returned...both keyboard and mouse work...just don't have the added bells and whistles attached...and I can live with it...the sound is a sound card...and I figured...I looked at it...and the drivers must conflict...

    thanks for the suggestions...

I'm thinking that the problem lies in the keyboard keys for volume + - and mute.
If and when you get bored you could take a look and see what you find.
