the sound coming out of my speaker set (creative I-trigue 3330) is cracking. Now, I have connected my speaker set to my mp3-player and everything works just fine. When I connect my headphone to the pc, I again experience bad sound.
Conclusion: my speaker set is fine, my pc isn't.

I've been noticing a "popping" or "cracking" noise coming from my speakers/headphones.
The first I noticed it was during a movie, and I assumed it was the movie's audio - but since then I have been hearing it during music and other movies and from both speakers and headphones....
