I'll keep this open. Let me know the outcome

Okay...
I'm using a USB 1.0 Hub, with Headset connected to that, and HUB connected to USB 3.0, and this being the third day, it has not disconnected. I have noticed some occasional popping sounds (not at all as irritating as via no hub and USB 2.0). I'll try and fix this over time, but we'll see how it goes.
I am really confused, as usb 1 has seemed to have fixed the problem, but not entirely.
I won't send my headset back yet, unless the problem arises again.
Thanks alot Jack, again, i'll leave this thread open for about a week to see if usb 1 has fixed it. if not, i'll leave another message on the thread that i'm sending back the headset, and i'll hope for the best.
again, thanks!
Can you try using a dvi cable to hook up to your monitor instead of using the hdmi cable? So that the sound signal will not transfer to the the monitor at all, and if your using a tv/monitor, check for an updated firmware for it. If your using an hdmi cable at the same time your wanting sound through usb. You might run into a syncing issue between the two aka latency/crackling/popping
Good luck!
Another thing to try is boot to windows and launch something playing music then disconnect your monitor cable all together and see if the noise persists through your usb headphones.
Hey dave,
Thanks for your reply, i am using DVI, as my monitor is 1680x1050, and i cannot utilize hdmi.
I will try your second suggestion. Thanks.
If you are blue screening try some of these options
are you overclocking at all?
is your memory compatible with your board?
memory voltage within spec and timings? you can loosen the timings a little and see if it helps. memory timings and voltage are the biggest reasons for blue screens.
try downclocking your video card a bit.
if you have at all the option in your bios for pci latency timer, increase to 64 or 128
try turning off all power mangement options temporarily just to insure the usb is getting enough juice.

Thanks dave,
I'll try what you suggested. I have not oc'd on this latest mobo =)
I actually fixed the problem, by using a USB 1.0 Hub, and connecting that to my USB 3.0 Port. Finally!
