Windows 7: Windows 7 can't find the speakers/headphones being plugged in

Seriously short of some software I don't know about that may be specific to your model of system. I don't have much left for you. With the nvidia hdmi audio off it should automatically and correctly switch to the integrated.
You could try switching for the hd audio to the standard audio in your bios. This will actually be a separate device, and if anything like my system the difference can really only be heard on a massive stereo system anyhow.
