    I'd go with what Fireberd advises.
    Yes, it's OK to install the older driver from HP.

    I forget that not everyone builds their own PC, but instead may use a branded PC.
    Unfortunately with branded PC's, you can experience problems, if you don't use the supplied driver(s).

    Yes. It will probably ask you if you really want to install an older driver (or something similar) but click yes.
