A small sound problem

Hello guys,

When I hibernate my PC and let it come out again, the sound driver doesn't always work without me having to restart windows etc. This only happens sometimes and most of the time it does work.

Is there any way to fix it without having to restart my PC every time it happens?

Problems coming out of standby are generally device driver problems.

You didn't list the Advent model number so I can't link you directly to the Advent download for the sound drivers. But here is the link to their drivers page. First thing to do is download the correct sound driver from Advent and if they do not have a sound driver for your specific model, you can try Foxconn. In most cases the Vendor or motherboard supplied sound driver is preferred. Other drivers may or may not work correctly.
