One more Audio Sync issue. Specific to HTPC hookup.
Was set up properly with winxppro 32 for a couple of years. Just upgraded to Windows 7 32 and went to HP site and downloaded all updated/recommended drivers for this model's upgrade to Windows 7.
Following an online tutorial I was able to get the HDMI sound output and headphone/speaker output to play at the same time.
Hard to explain but this is necessary for my HTPC setup for a few reasons.
In winxppro there were no issues with audio sync at all. With my Windows 7 upgrade I am now getting approx a 1/4 to 1/2 second delay which is quite distracting.
Is there a fix?
(and incidentally.... my "enter" and "backspace" keys are lagging by about one full second on this board when trying to space forward or backward to create a new line of text. for example at the end of a paragraph when hitting enter to create a blank line between paragraphs. i'm sensitive to looking for glitches in this new OS install on this computer. i have not noted this behavior anywhere else. is it a problem with the forum?)
Thanks so much
