| | No you need an HDMI to HDMI cable unless you want to take DVI from the PC. Does your PC have an HDMI connector? The HDMI to HDMI cables are generally cheaper. If your PC only has a DVI then get a DVI to HDMI cable. The manual says to use DVI to HDMI as it is only recently that all most all video cards have HDMI as a standard now.
