Windows 7: Realtek HD Audio Manager won't open.

Realtek HD Audio Manager won't open.

Went into my Realtek's folder and the only thing in there I found was MaxxAudio..
I think I found the actual Realtek HD Audio Manager but it doesn't open.
If I run it as an administrator, it asks me if I'd like to open it. I hit yes, but nothing comes up.

It runs as a process in my task manager. I'm not sure if this is just part of the drivers or the actual application for configuration.

Went to the site and installed the newest drivers. Still the same problem.

My Realtek folder and the file I was referring to:

I just want to set up my two audio outputs on my PC to be listed as separate devices. All over the internet are posts saying you can do it through Realtek HD Audio Manager.
That'd be great if I could even use it.

Not sure if this will help Realtek

Oh and to post pics Emcitement try the snip feature mate it is much easier to use.
Start > type snip ad a window at the top will say Snipping tool > right click > pin to taskbar. When ready with screen you want to capture click on the snip tool the screen will go milky > left click hold down and out line the part of the screen you want (let go of the click) > File > Save as (pick a destination I put mine on desktop) give it a title and OK. When posting use the Manage attachments under the reply window > Browse > desktop > pick the snip you want > upload when the ref disappears > post your reply.

Sounds complicated but it really is easy no mucking around

Yep it just dropped out for me so I went to Realtek then as a try to this Realtek it is asking to accept some sort of agreement. But I can see why you are getting frustrated it is a pain of a site.
See what happens if you try that second link.

oh, yeah that's odd. found it through the home page. tried to installing. it kept spamming me with a message saying the drivers aren't trusted and if I want to install them anyway. I'd click to install anyways. The installation bar wouldn't move and the message would pop up again 20 seconds later.

It isn't even there. Guess I don't actually have the application.

I downloaded the drivers directly off the site. I don't understand why I don't have it.

I had a gut feeling that is what they would say after all it is just Windows checking i guess.

Now I am just thinking I usd to use an app called Slim Drivers that used to scan your machine for missing or out of date drivers now if you want to try that at last it is independent of Realtek an Windows eh?

It is a bit slow (the free version) as you have to do one driver at a time. Paid for does the lot but be very wary of the ads and pop ups they can be a tad tedious and when you have finished with it uninstall it or it will pester you at start up.

Worth try cos we aint getting anywhere like this eh?

SlimDrivers Free - CNET Download.com < watch out for the add ons - Ask bar and Blekko or whatever rubbish it might put tick boxes in for tak the download slowly - if you want to try this.
