    Need laptop audio advice


    Hi,

    I need 17" laptop mostly for watching online videos/DVDs. Can someone recommend one with a good sound card..? It seems many laptops do not sound very good.

    Getting a laptop with good sound is going to be a difficult task. Might have to suffice with external speakers or headphones. I do know that there's some BeatsAudio and Sony Digital laptops out their.

    I currently have a beatsaudio laptop,it's a HP DV6 (which my oh has)with a mini sound bar built into the top part of the frame around the keyboard.The sound a better than the regular DV6 but not great,as the other poster said laptops generally don't have great sound.If I had to do it again I would buy a usb soundbar,some clip on and off the top of the screen.A friend of mine bought a great little one made buy Edifer(no clip but it fits nicely between the keboard and screen ,at only about 8" long and nice and light,it is a great little piece of kit.I'm sure it was only about £30.
