    No sound after reinstall.

It's me again, same sound problems, not really. I'm having an irritating problem after reinstalling my computer.
    Here's my specs:
    AMD Athlon 63 Processor 3500+ at 2.2Ghz (single-core)
    1GB of RAM
    A 2GB Nvidia GeForce GT430 videocard.
My OS is Windows XP Professional version 2002 Service Pack 3.
Creative EAX SoundBlasted 5.1 PCI Audio Card.

I've made a thread before this, that I took my hard drive to another computer then put it back in my current one. I had blue and green screens, I couldn't reinstall the computer. When I could enter windows, I tried installing different kinds of sound drivers, all of them said there is no PCI sound card detected. I reinstalled my computer. Everything seems fine now, but the fact that I HAVE NO SOUND.

I used to have a CD somewhere from my PCI card, but I have lost it. I tried downloading all kinds of EAX soundblaster 5.1 programs/drivers, but when installing, a message would pop up : "setup is unable to detect a supported product on your system. Please ensure that your product is properly installed before running this Setup program. Setup will now exit.".

The thing is, I already tried different PCI slots and I tried to clean up the slot area too. What can possibly be the problem?
    Thanks in advance.

I took out my PCI card once again, put it back in. Downloaded another driver. Now it says "Setup could not detect any Sound Blaster Audio card on your system. Please ensure that your Sound Blaster hardware is properly installed before running this Setup program. Setup will now exit."

    Hi,

This could be the Hardware issue with the sound card. Kindly check if the card shows up in Device Manager as properly installed or not?

It doesn't show up as a installed hardware. Nor does it show any audio device in dxdiag

I just had the same problem over at my friend's place. He has another sound card, but the problem was HE NEEDED TO USE AN ORIGINAL CD. So my problem is I don't have one. But I need an original one. Anyone fill me in on some ISO's?

    Hi,

Is there anyway you can ask the manufacturer to provide you the original disc or else it should be easily available online.
