Troubles with the sound of the devices plugged into front audio jack

So, hello everyone.

I was looking for some answers for my (for me) quite serious problem. Couple months ago I bought Platronics headphones with the microphone. On any other computer, they're working amazing. On mine, well, I've got some problems..

1) When I plug them into my front audio jack, I can hear only the sound on the ONE headphone (right or left) (not sure if I said that correctly, but you know what I mean). If I try to plug them a bit.. HARDER, it start to works, but, then, again, they start buggin.
2) My rear mic jack is responding only sometimes... for example, if I plug my headphones mic cable into it, and if I move cable suddenly, they stop working.

Where is the real problem there?...
Please, help me. I'm spending quite some time with my friends on Skype, and when it's late, I need to plug in both headphones audio and mic, but I can't.
Thanks in advance!
