Windows 7: No Sound Command and Conquer Red Alert 3

Hi

I recently installed Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 on my Windows 7 home premium 64 bit' and the game runs with no sound. The game shows no errors; I've checked the game options and everything its ok and the weird thing is that when i minimize my game screen while having my Volume Mixer - Speaker / Headphones (IDT High Definition Audio CODEC) open it shows that there was sound playing from the game but there's no sound coming out of the speakers nor the headphones. I also have no sound playing from any other program while i'm running the game; but when I close the game sound starts playing again.



I hope someone can help me out because it stinks to play a game with no sound.
