Windows 7: Sound Panning problem when Adjusting Volume

Sound Panning problem when Adjusting Volume

Just this morning, I booted up my computer, and started playing music. At first, the panning seemed to be a bit off, so I fixed it in the Xonar DX Audio centre. However, when I tried to turn the sound up, the panning was also adjusted (the sound moved from the left when it was the quietest to the right when it was loudest). This, as you can imagine is something of a problem. If anyone has experienced this problem before, please help.

Some details that might help: I am using a Xonar DX soundcard, with an Asrock Z77 Extreme4 motherboard. The type of headphones does not seem to matter, because I tried 3, and they all had the same problem. Also, I recently installed 3RVX. I thought that this may have been the trouble maker, but I uninstalled it, and nothing happened.
