Looking for Program to automatically level sound at certain daytimes.
I'm looking for a possibility to automatically set the sound volume of my Computer to a specific level once a certain time of the day has passed.
To elaborate my problem a little:
I’m living in an older house which has the incredible ability in sending my Subwoofers vibes straight to my neighbor living above me who’s certainly not amused when she’s trying to sleep.
I usually manage to keep this from escalating by lowering the volume past 10pm but yesterday I forgot this and well… Shit just got real with her standing in front of my door so I’m looking for something to prevent this from happening again.
I’d like to mention that I’m not even listening to music that loud since standing in front of my flat you don’t hear anything.
I’ve already looked into Automuter which pretty much is what I need but it’s not perfect.
While it has the ability to lower the volume once a specified time has passed the least possible amount ( -20dB ) lowers the volume by 75% which is way too much.
So does anyone know of a possibility to do this without such a program or does know of an alternative that allows for more precise settings?
