    speaker/headphone not plugged in


    hello friends
    i have a problem here

    firstly i'll tell you
    -i have tested my speaker on another komputer and working properly
    -i have checked on device manager, sound, video and game controllers have status "this device is working properly"
    -i have instaled the latest realtek driver for my windows 7 32bit
    -i have enabled my onboard sound in bios

    mobo : asus p5gc-mx/1333

    and this is my problem:
    start-control panel->sound
    on playback device, my speaker not plugged in although i have plugged it in
      My Computer

    The Device Manager may show it working properly but there may be a corruption in the status in Windows.

    Assuming you have the correct ASUS supplied sound driver, RIGHT click on the Device Manager entry for the sound to highlight it and then LEFT click "Uninstall" DO NOT check the box to uninstall the drivers. Restart the PC and when Windows starts it will detect and reinstall the sound. If there was a corruption, this will fix that problem.
