My new alienware is having some wierd sound problems.
Ok so here's what is up. I got my alienware m14xr2 a few months ago, and i really didn't notice it to much then, but the audio out jack creates quite a bit of static during music playback. I recently noticed this because i bought myself some new Klipsh s4 earbuds and an afterglow universal wireless gaming headset, and with both of these new products i noticed this buzzing on a new level. Previously i have only used my 10 sony earbuds and my decent creative labs speakers for playing back my audio, but both of my new devices are noise isolating and that makes the buzz much louder and very apparent even when playing music in games. Furthermore, the headset plugs into the usb port for the wireless receiver and then also into an audio jack to produce game audio (chat is sent through the usb port separately), and when i am listening solely through the "chat channel" of the headset the hum is much quieter and i believe only being caused by the wireless receiver found in the left ear of the headset, and it doesn't bother me that much, however, when i listen to the audio channel that is coming from the audio jack, the buzzing becomes very loud, and a different high pitched element is added to it. Overall, what i am mainly wondering is what can i do about my situation to decrease(or hopefully eliminate) that buzzing noise (or at least the high pitched squeaky sound that is created?
As a sidenote, i believe my computer comes with onboard audio powered by creative labs recon 3di drivers and software.
Thanks in advance for any help i receive.
