    WMP has stopped working


    I am trying to rip some music CD' but am getting a message to say that it isn't worlking because of a plug in and go to tools but I do not a Plug ins spot in there.

    Any ideas please I recently went back form IE10 to9 as it was just too much grief. so could this be the problem??

    Just for info I have this come up Windows Media Player error C00D0FD6

    There's a lot of hits on that error code if you do a google search. Look them over and see what may apply to your situation.

    I installed IE10, Tuesday, and except for having to re-enter user name/password on sites I haven't had any problems.

    BTW, I use the free "Audiograbber" for ripping CD's. With an MP3 encoder it will rip both wav and MP3's.

    Thanks fireberd the thing has suddenly started working again - absolutely no idea of what went wrong. I have to change back to IE9 because my pay office use an Oracle based program that will not go through IE10.
    I did tell the IT people but whether they will do anything being a government department who knows,

    Hey but I shall give that Audiograbber a shot in any case:)
