Speakers wont turn off when headphones are plugged in
I am on windows 7 64bit, I have listed in my speaker system 4 different devices
this is the order they are listed and their status also
Sharp HDMI - Disabled (unplugged) - I have to manually enable it when I want to plug my laptop to my tv
Speakers - Ready - Default Device
Headphones - Disabled, unplugged
Headset Earphones - Default Device when plugged in (otherwise not visable on list)
Here is the issue
If I were to plug in the Earphones Headset Earphones without the Sharp HDMI being disabled (but still unplugged) my laptop for some reason selects both Headset Earphones and Speakers, some sound comes out the speakers, others the Headset Earphone
If I disble the Sharp HDMI then when I plug the Headset Earphones in it swaps as it should to the Headset Earphones making them the default device and only the Headset Earphones work so when I pull the Headset Earphones plug it automatically switches back to the Speakers, this is how I want it to work but without having to disable the HDMI in order to do it.
would anyone hazard a guess to what is going on here?.. thanks
