Sound not working since deleting audiodg.exe
I've just about come to my wit's end with this problem, I already have spent hours trying to fix it with no luck.
A few months ago this 'Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation' a.k.a. audiodg.exe process program somehow got onto my computer and has since been playing random sound effects at very random times and it's been annoying the hell out of me. If I try to end this process then it goes away, but my sound is always disabled with it. I restart the computer to get the sound back and it comes back alright, but so does audiodg.exe...
Anyway today I got so mad at it I changed the permissions and deleted the file out of the System32 folder, and as expected audiodg.exe is gone for good, but so is my sound! Everything is normal and working fine on my computer, all the drivers, my speakers and even the speaker icon is enabled and displaying sound bars, but nothing comes through the speakers at all.
Nothing I've will restore my sound, I've looked everywhere on the internet and there's no solutions for my problem because I'm guessing that the audiodg.exe might have been a malware program just to annoy me or something, and then just disable my sound if it gets disabled. I'm scanning for malware now but it's not fixing the problem so far.
Can somebody please please please help me with this?? I'm between a rock and a hard place here because I can't afford to get a new operating systemCan't even get any help from Microsoft because my device is manufactured by Toshiba or some stupid reason.
EDIT: btw when I go into the Properties for my speakers and do the sound test, apparently it fails to play the test tone
