6 months now and still no solution to audio Crackling/Popping/Dropouts

Im desperate here as I simply cannot figure out the solution is and this thing is driving me nuts.

I have major latency issues and from DPC checker have figured out that its my network adapters (or at least I think).
When I disable both of them, I get nearly perfect sound.
Ive re installed them/dloaded new drivers multiple times and no difference.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I have a DELL E6400, Windows 7/64bit.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I know its no help but I have exactly the same problem with home built asus based PC, with tenda 802.11n W322P network card.

It drives me nuts.
And as an audiophile, it completely negates my headphones, amp, etc...

Anyone have any suggestions?

I dloaded ASIO4ALL but I dont see it anywhere on my computer.
Am I supposed to open this program and do something in it?
I see it under Programs but there is no executable file. Just a PDF and an uninstall option.

The end of this video is a bit confusing as the author is opening some drumming program...

ASIO4ALL can be iffy - work on some installations and not or cause problems on others. I and others that I deal with on recording DAW forums have had mixed success with ASIO4ALL for devices that do not have ASIO drivers.

In regards to the popping/crackling, etc. There are many potential causes for that, there is no "one fix". Some items that have been known to cause this is Wi-Fi and as you have found out disabling fixes your problem. Sound drivers are another - make sure you are using the Dell supplied driver, as non-Dell drivers many times either do not work or do not work correctly. I did a lot of support on the Dell users forums (for 10 years and over 38,000 posts) and non-Dell sound drivers were a major source of sound problems. I no longer have a Dell product and didn't think it was appropriate for me to continue posting on that forum.

There is a "Jim" on the Dell Laptop forum that is very knowledgeable about Dell laptops and in particular sound issues. If you haven't posted on there, give it a try.

I went to the dell site and installed their driver but its said that "the hardware detected is not supported by this software package, the install will be aborted".
Its the IDT 9200 driver for my operating system; what do you think is going wrong here?

After this, my computer then just re installs the default drivers that I have on my system, which might be causing my problems.
