Windows 7 - Duplicated Playback devices - HELP removing them ?

Recently had some issues with my PC, My main profile corrupted all icons disappeared time wouldn't show etc etc.

Anyways onto the main issue.
I have a ACER computer with a 21" monitor HD running with a VGA cable.
I also have a 47" TV running to my computer via HDMI.

Now when I don't have my TV on I right click on the audio next to the clock and select 'Playback devices'
Before my old profile corrupted I only had 3 which were:
Monitor (rear audio jack)
HD TV (HDMI cable)
HiFi (Front audio jack)

NOW I only have 2 (front audio & HDMI) and getting a weird list of duplicated audio devices I've attached a screen shot.



When I enable them they do nothing !

Also can't put it do 'hide disabled' because when I disable my TV its a nightmare messing around getting it back.

Any ideas on just how to remove them completely ?!

Welcome to Seven Forums jacko900000. A search seems to indicate these are "virtual sound card" listings. Some links point to Wondershare or other audio/video converter programs. In any case, here's what you might try.

Open Device manager

Start> Right click Computer> Manage> Device manager> Expand Sound, video, and game controllers> You will likely find 5 of the WS Audio Devices listed> Right click and choose Uninstall> Restart PC and see if the listings are gone

Be aware if you are still using a program that installed these in the first place, they will likely return. Let us know how it goes. A Guy

Worked fine, Listed all of them.

I removed them and re-booted my PC and they've all gone.
Only displaying my current sound which is my monitor, Haven't turned on my TV yet so hopefully that'll boot up too.

Yeah it was mainly just annoying as I wasn't used to seeing them.
I have another issue, Don't know if you can help but anything will do at this moment in time... Another annoying thing.
