Which speakers are better for DELL XPS ?

Hello, I plan to buy good, budget speakers for my dell xps l702x laptop,

    So far I chose:
    - EDIFIER 2.1 C2XD (2.1) ($130)
    - Logitech X-530 (5.1 works with my laptop) ($80)

Which one do you recomend and why ? Thanks for advices.

    Regards.

I would go with the Logitech, because it's 5.1

I am a musician and have a recording studio.

"Budget Speakers"???? The weakest link in audio reproduction is the speakers. Buy "budget speakers" and you will generally get "budget sound".

That's very true, but I think my choice isn't bad, what do you think ? Also feel free to suggest your speaker

PS: I investigated audio speaker field very deep in last three days and came out with two choices Edifier C2XD and Logitech X-530. Now I eliminated Edifier since is almost 2 times more expensive and I feel logitech will give me similar or better sound.

I was considering floor standing speakers which obviously will sounds better but to get good columns I must multiple my budget 10 times.

I have no experience with Logitech Speakers other than hearing them set up for demo at a CompUSA computer store so I can't really comment on them.

I have an old Boston Accoustics 2.1 system that I got with a Gateway computer about 12 years ago. They are very good quality speakers and rival some of the high priced Bose speaker systems. I don't know what the current Boston Accoustic PC speaker systems are now.

However, to be truthful I mainly use my studio monitor speakers with my PC.

+1 on the Klipsch for the $ ! The Logitech aren't bad either they just can't compare to real speakers but as this is for a lappy maybe less is more?

Looks average but I know that klipsch has very good sound.

Honesty, for me logitech which I posted here looks better and are 5.1 + keep in mind that I found offer for $80 while Klipsch ProMedia 2.1's cost $200 at least, how is that ? Do you still think that in this case Klipsch is better ?

Looking forward to hear more competition to my Logitech choice (ofcourse logitech isn't perfect but I 'm sure in this price range is the best ! )

My girlfriend has the exact Logitech speakers and they are great for 80 dollars or what ever the best price you can get them for as they seem to be discontinued. These look to be the current version:
