How to get desktop sounds through speakers & voices through headphones

Just installed a new motherboard and with that it reset all my sound options and a few others and before the new motherboard I was able to go onto TeamSpeak 3 and get peoples voices through my headphones and all other sounds through my speakers so I was able to hear voices and music clearer, one problem is that I can't scheme to remember how to do this and if I try to make the headphones the default communications device, the option doesn't show up for it. Looked around but there isn't anything about how to do this.

If anyone has any ideas on how to change this I'd be appreciative.

    Thanks

I am a bit confused with what you are trying to do as usually plugging in phones automatically disconnects the speakers by way of a switch that is struck by the incoming jack plug. Unless you can disable that switch I don't know how you are going to do this.

Was going to resort to a separate sound card but then had the thought about a usb microphone/headphones, works fine now. Thanks anyway :]

Glad it got fixed but keep the card in mind if you like music as much as I do then the mixer (GUI) and effects are something else even with the base Asus DG and it is real cheap:)
