Bluetooth speaker and Headset output simultaneously?

Hi, I play music for my shop via the headset jack on my Dell "All-in-One" connected to an amplifier. We just got a wireless Bluetooth speaker to sell in the shop, and I am trying to figure out how to use BOTH the wireless Bluetooth and the headset jack at the same time. As soon as I connect the wireless speaker, the headset jack shuts off. Anyone know how/if to configure this setup? Thanks!

Hi PTTodd,

Welcome to the Sevenforums.

As designed it can produce sound either from headset or speakers. In most system if you connect headset then speakers won't work and vice versa.

If headset is connected then preferred audio output would be headset. Once headset is disconnected it would automatically switch to speakers.

Hope this information helps.

To expand on what has been presented. You can only have one default audio playback device. Thus the reason for either Bluetooth or headset audio.

Yeah, otherwise you would need to split the audio out to each device, old school style, but oldschool didn't have bluetooth.

If it has a different input jack on the speaker ALSO, then it would be possible, but I wouldn't drop money on it since selling it, if it did, but if you already own the needed cables...
