Hi Folks,

My friend has poor eyesight and needs a program that can be easy for him to read the CD's titles in its library. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My friend was fairly good with computers including his eyesight till he had a minor 'stroke' a little while ago. Now the task of maintaining his pc is my job. Unfortunately i'm in fairly good health so have never needed to tweak any major settings. A quick twiddle of my scroll wheel while holding the Ctlr key was enough to increase my text size.

Jimmy is using WMP on his Win8 64bit pc but as his cd's are nearly all various artists, WMP tends to sort them by artist instead of by album. I tried Winamp on his pc but the text is even smaller.

I'll report on your suggestion ramorra.

Hi there
I believe you can selectively increase the Font sizes of Menus etc .

Change Menus, and message boxes -- now run VLC (free multi-media player - both Audio / Video) and I think it will give you what you want.

Download VLC from VideoLAN - VLC: Official site - Free multimedia solutions for all OS!

Cheers

I have reset jimmy's DPI & he's happy with it.
In WMP, most of his cd's were listed as 'Various Artists' so I renamed them, now they show separately.
Many thanks boobah.
