Stereo Mix not Working
Okay, so you may have seen loads of topics with this title, before saying that its a duplicate please read my entire issue, as I have looked and cannot find anything that works...
I am a YouTuber who does gameplay recordings with other people, I use dxtory to record the Video and Audio of the Gameplay... I split the Audio into 3 sections, 1 is my Microphone, 1 is Skype call audio and the third is the remaining system audio
I split my audio with Virtual Audio cables... which I then listen to the output audio cable through my headset...
My default audio device is my HDMI TV speakers... I cannot use the "Speakers" device which is linked to the Line In on the back of my pc, My headphones (LifeChat LX-3000) do not support that connection being used when they are plugged in, don't know why, but its true.
Obviously I need to listen to my System Audio through the headphones too, and usually I'd do this by listening to "stereo mix" through my headset however Stereo Mix isn't receiving any audio when I play a game, or listen to anything or anything. I can't just leave it and record the HDMI Audio output as my microphone would pick it up and I wouldn't be able to edit properly.
I've never had this issue before but since I bought the LifeChat LX-3000 it became an issue, before I was using a Geoteck headset (can't remember the model).
Is there a way I can get a "stereo mix" equivalent for my headset, or even better, get Stereo Mix to work?
Thanks for your help in advance
