    Sound Buzzing in Speakers/Headphones/HDMI

I'm having some trouble with my laptop's sound. Every few minutes, it sounds like the audio skips and buzzes for less than a second. It sounds like interference or something. I was certain it was a fault with the speakers, but the problem exists when listening on headphones and even on the TV connected through HDMI. Also, it happens in Windows Media Player, Adobe Flash, or anything that has audio. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

I'm still not having any luck. After doing some tests, I determined that the mouse and keyboard are affected too. Every 30 seconds, on the second, everything stutters for less than a second. In addition to the audio problems described, the keyboard stops taking input and the mouse automatically clicks a link if the cursor is hovered over it. Any ideas on what's going on?

As its also happening to the keyboard and mouse, its obviously not just an "audio" issue. It sounds like some interrupt, whether hardware or software (?) that causes this.

Look at the Event logs and see if you can see anything that is happening on a regular basis.

One of the other forum sections may be a better place to post for help, since this is not just an audio issue.
