Sound from other account affects all users

    Sound from other account affects all users


    hi

    i have two accounts in windows 7

    when my wife uses her account and turn the volume down listening to the headphones

    then if i go to my account the headphones volume is down

    why???

    Walt mate if she turns down the volume then there is only one audio device on the machine so it will stay down for everyone.

    Bit like me setting the max speed of my car to 50mph and someone else getting in and wanting to go 60mph unless the block is taken off then the car will only go at 50mph.

    Do the volume controls remain set after a reboot?

    what do you mean?
    Well because if I set the volume on my laptop fr example to half volume shut down start the next day or reboot the volume will still be at half volume:)
