ive never really figured out what all the settings do and are good for with this card, its been a bit redundant for a while but ive just got call of duty ghosts and the sound isnt great

im wondering if someone can point me in the right direction for kind of set up i should have?

    thanks

i haven't used creatives drivers in a long time but if your games will understand it you could either go full stereo or you can set windows playback devices of your headphones for 5.1 and then use the x-fi surround drivers to fake surround i guess. can you take a screen shot of your x-fi drivers control panel so i can see how they have their new drivers set up now? i always used PAX drivers instead of creatives for better compatibility once i had moved to windows 7. is it still using this setup> http://static.trustedreviews.com/94/...eModeMixer.jpg ?

either way set windows playback properties to 24 bit 4800hz for gaming and 96khz if your card will let you.
