    I actually did fix it.

Uh...somehow. It seriously just started working, I didn't change the drivers or anything.
They are a bit quirky that way but those Xonar drivers work well for me with the Vista patch and also I needed to change over to DVD quality for the sound to work correctly.

Oh, I had no problems with the sound at all, it worked great from the install.

The microphone just took about three days before it said "here I am!" for whatever reason.

When the mic doesn't work checking the two variables on the right usually gets it working.

Please add the Bluegears B-Enspirer sound card (CMI 8788 card).

They originally said they were NOT going to write drivers for Seven, but they negotiated a deal with C-Media and now have Windows 7 drivers available on their website.

I was previously using a Xonar driver set (which worked OK), but the bgears drivers & SW are actually newer. I'm using them now and the card works great!

It's always a nice surprise when that happens.

I have the bluegears b-enspirer and I cannot get any sound no matter what I try. I have tried both the W7 drivers from the bluegears site as well as the Xonar drivers. No sound at all with either.

I am using the Creative Audigy Value & the drivers from Creative on CD work & Windows Update also found the drivers so you can use any of them,I am using the CD drivers.
How are you getting on with them?

I have the same card and let windows update install the driver. It worked but i have no bass. I don't have the creative soundpannel anymore to set my trebble and bass etc.

    Only 16Bit .

For being a mash up DJ. I need 24Bit for the sound quality.
