    Low Sound Windows 7

I appologise if this thread has already been posted. Yesterday I bought a new PC with Windows 7 Home Premium. I have my mic and headset working but the sound levels when I talk of play music in say Paltalk quiz rooms is very very low.

I have checked all the volume controls but alas even though I am at 100% my sound and music are very low

My Sound Card is High Definition Audio Device

Any advise will be most welcome

    Kindest Regards

Right click on the sound icon on the taskbar and select recording devices. Select your microphone > Properties > Custom and enable microphone boost.

To check your device levels (not just the main volume) select playback devices > your device > Levels and ensure all sliders are at 100%

Also ensure you have the latest drivers installed for your device.

    Low Sound

    Many thanks for the reply

I have done all that you have suggested but still no difference. I checked for Driver Updates through Device Manager but it says the Drivers are most up to date ones

Any further advise will be welcome
