    Sound breaking up

Not sure if you are the guys i should be asking but i figured since its a sound issue and it happens on my windows 7...

So its related to google chrome and youtube . Whenever a video is played on youtube and i am doing something else ( switching tabs , opening stuff , etc ) the audio breaks . i tried this on firefox and i have 0 issues.

So is it my sound card, google chrome , youtube , any addon / plug-in problem ... ?

Hope i can get an answer since this is a really annoying problem

If you need any more info please just ask.
    Thank you!

    Hi Frikster,

It doesn't seem to be an issue with the sound card as it works fine in Firefox. Have you tried reinstalling google chrome on the system and check if it resolves the issue.

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.

    Hi Frikster,

Make sure that Java and Flash player is updated on the system:

    Download Free Java Software

Adobe - Install Adobe Flash Player

And re-installing chrome should have resolved the issue. Kindly perform a clean startup and let us know:

    Hi Frikster,

Yes definitely it is an issue with the Google chrome as it works fine in other browsers. Can you confirm you reinstalled the Google chrome and issue still occurred with it.

If yes then let us know the version of chrome you are using on the system.

Keep us posted with the results so we can advise you further.

are you using the youtube flash player or HTML5 one? right click the player and it will tell you on the last thing shown.

also chrome uses pepper flash so unless he changes his flags in chromes settings it will not use the installed adobe version.

to me the issue sounds like it possibly be related to not having enough "free ram" available. because if you are switching applications really quickly and even slowly like that; if the system does not have enough available free ram; it can cause audio, video, really pretty much you name it to "studder" or break up like that.
