    High Definition Audio Controller [NoDB]

so i installed 7 and my sound isnt working, cant for the life of me find a codec or driver or anything.

i did an everest report on my comp and it showed this
    " Multimedia:
Audio Adapter High Definition Audio Controller [NoDB]
Audio Adapter Multimedia Audio Controller [NoDB]"

apparently the name of the card is High definition audio controller??

All I can suggest is go to the site of the manufacturer of your audio device and download the drivers from there.

Use generic Realtek AC 97 drivers like I did to eliminate the problem, THEN load your sound card drivers next..worked a treat for me with my old Barracuda AC1 gaming card...
