I'm trying to install the latest drivers audio drivers to fix a mic static problem I am having, but the driver after it hits this point the driver gets stuck installing leaving me without an audio driver.
Are these drivers from ASUS, for your motherboard? or did you get the drivers somewhere else.
That may not be the issue with the mic static, although its a place to start.
Do a System Restore back to a date PRIOR to trying to install the new drivers. That will give you a "fresh start". Try installing them again. Install them "Run as Administrator" and see if that helps.
