Problems with Audio Playback with STR-DN1020 Receiver & NVIDIA Drivers
For the last month, I have been constructing and configuring my first HTPC to run XBMC. Things were going well until last night when I noticed that my Sony STR-DN1020 Receiver's playback was set to 2-Channel only and it no longer showing any supported formats and the speaker configuration was locked at Stereo only.
Previously, I had multiple formats and could set my speakers to 5.1 and 7.1. The only change I made was updating to the latest NVIDIA drivers, v332.21. I am thinking that this MAY be at least part of the problem, as my HDMI connection comes off an ASUS GeForce GTX 650 video card, to the Video 1 input on the receiver, then out the TV. However, I have not rolled back the drivers yet.
Does anyone know how to have Windows 7 playback re-recognize my supported formats and correctly configure my speakers with the current drivers? Or if the roll back does not work?
Here are the related components and drivers:
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (64-bit)
A/V Receiver: Sony STR-DN1020
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 650 2GB Video Card
NVIDIA Driver: GeForce v332.21 - WHQL
Audio Codec: LAV Audio Decoder 0.59.1
A full component list of my build can be found HERE
Thank you in advance for any help provided.
