    Stereo Mix Not Detecting Sound

I think the title is kind of self-explanatory.. stereo mix seems to be unaware of it when I am playing sound on my computer. Could explain more but here's a video instead:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUfg73F6cBk

(Tried to embed it with the little YouTube icon but it got filtered out for whatever reason.)

This is especially bizarre because just a few days ago, I used Stereo Mix to record something playing on my computer and it worked perfectly. But then I tried today and suddenly it's.. not. Anyone have any solutions? If you need any more info on my computer then let me know.

    Two suggestions.

    1. Go to the Device Manager, RIGHT click on the entry for the RealTek and then LEFT click "Uninstall". DO NOT uninstall the drivers. Restart the PC and when Windows starts it will detect and reinstall the sound. If there were any Windows corruptions this will (usually) fix it.

    2. Another option is to try the System Restore back to an available restore date that is when the sound worked correctly.
