Alright I see....haven't dealt with one of these before

I have looked and looked and looked and looked some more...and I cannot find any updated drivers for the device. The only thing left to reccomend is these three things...

1)Find the Altec Speakers in Device Manager and right click->Remove the Device. After it finishes, Right-Click any device in Device Manager and hit "Scan for Hardware Changes". It should install the speakers with the default driver again

    2)If #1 doesn't work...try a different USB port

3)*if #1 or #2 fail* Contact Altec and see if they can provide a compatibile driver for Windows 7

I wish you the best of luck

Yes there is a way. Just go into the Device Manager and roll back to the old driver.

You should go to the Asus support page and look for Win 7 drivers for your motherboard. Can't post links directly to that site so you will need to go there and look around for them.
