No Audio Device

Hi!

Please help. This weekend I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit and i´ve been having audio problems since. After some time of playing it just goes silent and after restart it shows no audio device. Under Device Manager i can´t locate no "sound, video and game controllers" at all.And no "other devices" either... I downloaded Conexant HD-Audio SmartAudio 221 Driver(for vista) from HP homepage, but if I try to install it says:" Driver installation failed: Could not find the device for this driver." I have installed Chipset drivers and updated my BIOS.Nothing.If i run my Windows in safe mode, than somehow i get it going, drivers installed. Once i start playing or listen to some music it shuts up again.Any suggestions? Will my machine work on Windows 7 at all? I have a HP G6060EG Notebook PC.
