Live feed on Line-in and Skype on mic

    Hi,

    This is my problem:

I would like to feed audio from a radio to the internet. The radio is connected to my soundcard's Line In via a 3,5mm male-male cable.

Also connected to my soundcard is a microphone that I primarily use for Skype. It is connected to the Mic In.

To feed the audio I use software where I can select what sound source I should use. However, even though I select Line In here, it still feeds the sound the microphone picks up in the room.

To solve this, I go into the Windows Sound Control Panel - Recording options. Here I change the default from Microphone to Line in. Now the audio from the radio go to the internet, but I cannot use my microphone with Skype.

Primarily I use the Bose Companion 5 as speakers and the sound card is included in the motherboard.

Is it possible to set my system up so that the radio feeds to the internet, and so that I at the same time privately can use my microphone for Skype?

    Appreciate any help with this!

I don't think you can do that. However, set the "Stereo Mix" as the default recording device. This may do what you want.

As this is a users helping users forum, apparently no one has an answer for you and the reason no one has responded previously.
