I can't tell you what to do. However, I will never buy another ASRock motherboard because of the problems I had.

What does as rock even stand for? There boards are diffintly not rock solid and the audio blew 2 months in not a good start on a new board.

Can see what you mean if I decide to change boards might try gigabyte or Asus.

You can always add a quality sound card. If sort the ram issue as well. Get a good set of matched ram and a sound card and you're back in business ?

    One Question:

I swapped the board with a old gaming board which you can get the specs on my other threads, Too lazy to post it here lol.

How would ddr compared to ddr3 effect gaming.
If I overclocked the CPU what cooling would I need?

You can't interchange ddr/ddr2 and ddr3 they are specific to the boards requirements only......sorry.

Didn't mean that I already know DDR is DDR and ddr2 is different but does ram speed effect gaming?

When it comes to ram and it's lanes the faster stable speed you can achieve the better......but the trick will involve the CPU capacity and mobo as well so just buying the fastest listed and hitting XMP or overclocking sometimes other physical limits are hit. I bought 2133 for a 8 core bulldozer rig and could only get 2066 as I remember with the Zambesi 8120 3.2 overclocked to 4.7 and still it was all I could squeeze.
