    No Sound via HDMI on monitor speakers??!!!!?!!


    Hello guys, I bought a new monitor from LG and connected it via HDMI to my laptop but the sound does not work on the speakers of my monitor could you help me please???

    Set it as Default Device, and Disable the Intel device. Then restart.

    It is already set as default. Isn't the intel device responsible for the sound via hdmi??

    Right click on your desktop and select Screen Resolution. Does that screen show both displays? If not, click on Detect. Does it show now?
