Connecting BT headphones to laptop not working.

    Hello!

I bought Philips SHB7000 bluetooth headphones and am trying to connect them with the laptop.
I have connected them together and it shows up in playback devices, but says Disconnected, see pic:

Nothing happens when I press Connect. What am I doing wrong, and what can I do to get this to work??

Really appreciate all your help in advance!

What is the status of the Bluetooth in the Device Manager?

Also, you could try an uninstall reinstall of the BT headset. It should be showing in the Device Manager. Uninstall it in the Device Manager, than restart Windows and it should get reinstalled. May fix it.

Installing again, or syncing. It does find it and adds it.

    And it installs drivers.

Looks like others are having problems too. See this from the Phillips forum SHB7000 Windows 7 Bluetooth Driver Problem

But, the Phillips site does not have a driver listed.

    Edit/added. Did that fix it?

Considering others have had problems, I suspect its the particular model headset.

Had the same issue with Philips SHB4000 headphones. The only solution I could find was to order drivers from BlueSoleil, the most easy-to-use, innovative and interoperable Bluetooth software, Bluetooth driver
