IE11 - No sound
Is there a flaw?
DD8P mate first of all we need system specs mate System Info - See Your System Specs as all you have posted is the OS!!
Second are you saying that after installing IE11 you have no sound??
Is IE11 muted in your volume mixer?
I actually installed IE11 on release day.
Using an Acer Aspire X3950 Windows 7 Professional version.
Latest Realtek drivers are up to date.
Speakers, System Sounds and Mozilla Firefox are all at the maximum volume. They were not previously.
I think maybe the Firefox is not playing with the IE mate if you do not want one or the other uninstall which you like the least.
Personally IE does everything I want and I do a fair bit on the net - have tried Firefox and could see no appreciable increase in ease of use or performance. The only time I ever use it is when I use Ubuntu when fixing machines / dead drives.
I don't see why anyone should want to use a browser that is not developed by Microsoft to be absolutely honest.
Done a system restore and then disabled every browser apart from IE11 and reinstalled latest Adobe Air, Flash, Java and other browsers again and stuck everything through CCleaner.
Checked if it appeared in volume mixer and that all settings were at max.
IE11 now appears in the mixer on taskbar.
Sorted

Well I am guessing that the problem was the browsers not mixing well in any case it is fixed eh?:)
